This magnificent and authentic log cabin residence boasts a wonderful wrap-around deck with breathtaking mountain and lake views and in the evenings you can enjoy the pristine Colorado night skies with tons of stars, moon and more! Our home is on one private acre yet close to the outstanding town of Grand Lake and western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Experience an extraordinary mountain stay in this wonderful 4-bedroom which is outfitted with all the latest modern conveniences, new carpeting throughout and an excellent choice for families as the home will sleep up to 12 on two interior levels with over 2200 square feet of living space
The primary floor’s living room boasts extensive wood beams and stunning vaulted ceilings throughout and large windows to enjoy the lake view and allow for the warm Colorado sunshine to penetrate the room on those chilly mornings or winter days. Enjoy the wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV or dash outside to the private deck for an outdoor meal, BBQ grill.
The breakfast bar has seating for up to four and two smaller dining areas with tables for additional guests during mealtime. The kitchen has hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops where the chef in the group can interact with everyone in the open floor plan. There is a full bathroom around the corner of the kitchen. The primary bedroom suite has a king-sized bed, en-suite full bathroom and access to the private deck.
On the upper level of the cabin, you can take a break on the comfortable sofas in the open loft area and also have a more amazing view of the surrounding mountains, forest and lake. This level has vaulted ceilings with log beams and two bedrooms. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom is a kid’s paradise with custom log bunk beds, futon sofa and TV for entertainment. Both bedrooms share access to the main hallway bathroom.
The lower level of the cabin has the fourth bedroom with a queen bed and full en-suite bathroom offers a spot of seclusion and quiet from the rest of the cabin. Also there is a laundry room and access to the one car garage. Additional cars may park in the driveway only - no street parking is allowed. Please be advised that air conditioning is not available.
Guests are not allowed to smoke or bring pets onto the property as per the rules of the Homeowner Association. These regulations will be rigorously upheld, with a 200 fine imposed on guests who violate them.
Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake. Parking is not allowed on any Columbine Lake Road or Community Property.
